Chinese sturgeons introduced to Changsha Sea World
The photos taken on April 15 show visitors observing Chinese sturgeons at the Changsha Sea World.
Six Chinese sturgeons from the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences were released into a pond in the Chinese sturgeon exhibition area of the Changsha Sea World on the day.
These Chinese sturgeons are sub-adult, being 1.4 to 1.5 meters long and weighing 15 to 20 kilograms. The Changsha Sea World carries out real-time monitoring to ensure their health and help them adapt to the new living environment.
