YES TECH’s efforts to be national ‘little giant’ enterprise
Hunan YES TECH Optoelectric Co., Ltd. is a professional LED display manufacturer integrating R&D, production and sale. Covering high-end conference display, outdoor advertising, commercial display, smart city and other application fields, its products have been sold to over 100 counties and regions. They have shown a great performance in such key events as the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Expo 2020 Dubai, Brazil World Cup and Milan Expo.
Now, the company has subsidiaries in the United States and six overseas warehouses worldwide. It’s a national high-tech enterprise and has received the AEO certificate. This year, it was selected as a national “little giant” enterprise.
In the spring of 2020, YES TECH, mainly engaged in export sales, was deeply affected by the sudden COVID-19 pandemic. “Many suppliers of electronic components and circuit board components are abroad. Meanwhile, many orders have been cancelled because many large-scale events and LED industry related exhibitions were suspended and postponed. In addition, many projects have been delayed in construction, and labor costs have risen. This is a double whammy for us.” After a temporary suspension of production, the company’s executives thought that they had to change their mind to tackle these problems.
Since June 2020, YES TECH has learned from the marketing models of big brands like Apple and Huawei to launch a series of online product conferences, and seized the opportunity to participate in online exhibitions to introduce its latest technologies and new products to customers as soon as possible. The sales volume has gradually improved, easing the “crisis” that products could not be exported due to epidemic restrictions at that time.
This success became a powerful incentive. YES TECH promoted its products in South Korea, Japan, France and other countries through themed exhibitions, and participated in industry exhibitions in Spain and the United States.
Meanwhile, offline promotion meetings were held in Beijing and Changsha. Various measures were adopted to attract a larger number of high-quality customers.
To reduce the losses caused by the epidemic, the company bought default insurance for overseas orders. In case of failure to timely cash foreign exchange, delayed receipt of goods by customers, delayed payment and declining turnover rate, about 80% of the losses could be recovered, so that the company’s capital chain could remain stable.
During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, brilliant performances were presented on the award stages in Beijing and Yanqing. The magic stage MG series LED displays also made a hit, which is the flagship product of Yes Tech. Under low temperature, the company successfully completed various tasks with its high-polymer cold resistance and frost resistance nanotechnology.
In October 2021, YES TECH amazed visitors at China Pavilion and Muslim World League Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai, where Yes Tech made “Made in China” brand a hit again.
In the exhibition hall of the company, you will see clusters of flowers blooming on a transparent LED display. The screens with different shapes create a variety of colorful and vivid scenes in the exhibition hall.
The magic stage MG series LED screen is characterized by one screen for multiple forms. YES TECH has impressed others on various occasions with its more than 30 patents and rich experience in international events.
In recent years, YES TECH DOOH Solution has also been popular with the market. The 3D naked eye large screen applied in Qiaotou Street, Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province has become a local Internet-famous site.
During the epidemic, YES TECH has constantly developed several technologies. Now it has set up two research and development centers respectively in Changsha and Shenzhen, and has built its own CNAS nationally-recognized laboratory. The company has 137 independent patents. The original single LED product has been expanded into five categories, and rapid progress has been made in a number of technologies.
The chip is the key component of electronic display screen. Affected by the epidemic, YES TECH suffered from such problems as limited transportation channels, increasing procurement cost of core components, extended delivery time of parts and delayed order delivery.
To solve these problems, Liang Jun, chairman of YES TECH and the other senior executives visited electronic parts manufacturers in Shenzhen, Dongguan and other places, and established “spare warehouses” for components necessary for production, so as to ensure regular production.
In 2021, because of short of chips, many enterprises in the same industry had to halt production, except YES TECH. Relying on its spare warehouses, it has stepped up production and achieved win-win situation of business scale and benefits.
YES TECH gives consideration to both domestic and foreign markets. This year, it takes the opportunities of the G20 Summit in Indonesia and the Qatar World Cup to expand business.
Furthermore, it introduces more than 20 compound talented people from first-class universities and coastal areas, and offers an annual salary of 700,000 yuan to high-end talent.
This year, YES TECH will set up two after-sales service centers in Dubai and Italy, and strive to become an enterprise with the largest market share of LED displays in Hunan Province within three years. In the meantime, it will make efforts to become the benchmark in the field of LED display in Hunan Province.
